Low Density Enclosure System, with an Upgrade Path to High Density
AFCO’s Passive enclosure system is engineered for deployment in hot aisle / cold aisle applications.
The Passive enclosure may also be configured as copper / fiber cabling cabinet, and has multiple cable
management options including AFCO’s Side-Car technology.
The Passive enclosure is designed to be scalable from 1kW to 8+kW, starting as a superior passive enclosure
configured for low-density requirements, and scaling to AFCO’s K3 High Density enclosure. This is a powerful
strategy to address the changing needs of today’s datacenter. Effectively future proof your enclosure investment
by deploying upgrade-ready, AFCO Passive enclosures in a hot aisle / cold aisle configuration today, and have
the option to add Kool-IT™ and K3 components as your requirements for heat dissipation, thermal monitoring, and
power management change.
