Vision Customers needed to “see” what was going on with their datacenters and AFCO made vision a reality. We developed a dynamic datacenter resource management system designed to sense, monitor, store and communicate every critical metric in the power and cooling systems to the client network management platforms, providing a host of security features. Today, that product is K3 Resource Management and it drives the AFCO datacenter solution.

To balance the need for increased cabling in the datacenter and the negative impact this was having on heat dissipation in the enclosure, AFCO continued in our tradition of innovation by taking cable management to a whole different space, literally, with Sidecar technology. AFCO’s Sidecar technology is an external cable management solution for high-density enclosures that takes the bulk of cabling and power out of the enclosure and into a sidecar for better cable management and enclosure performance.
